Shipping Policy

Please Read Before Ordering

At The BuckWild Rose, I put serious care into every order — but shipping is a process with a few moving parts. Here’s how it works, straight up and no fluff.


Shipping Availability & Fulfillment

Not all items are kept in stock. Some products are:

  • In stock

  • Order-in from the manufacturer

  • Drop-shipped

  • Custom or made-to-order

Estimated shipping timeframes are listed below for each category. All timelines are estimates, not guarantees.


Shipping Methods & Insurance

  • In-stock items ship via USPS Priority Mail, which includes tracking, estimated 3-day delivery, and $100 insurance.

  • Large items (including saddles and saddle pads) typically ship via FedEx.

  • Shipping costs include packaging, handling, and carrier fees.

Once your package is handed off to USPS or FedEx, the carrier assumes responsibility for delivery.

Lost, Delayed, or Delivered Packages

If your package is delayed or lost while in transit, the buyer is required to open a claim directly with USPS or FedEx. Per carrier policy, I cannot open or manage claims on your behalf.

I’m happy to help point you in the right direction with carrier contact information, but once your package is in the hands of USPS or FedEx, they assume full responsibility for delivery.

Once a package is marked “Delivered,” any issues must be handled directly with the carrier. I cannot assist beyond that point under carrier policy.


Damaged Packages & Insurance Claims

All items leave my hands new, unused, and undamaged.

If your package arrives damaged:

  • You must file a claim directly with USPS or FedEx

  • I am not responsible for damage caused during shipping, including broken parts, water damage, or missing contents


Damaged Custom Bling Tack (IMPORTANT)

If custom bling tack is damaged during shipping:

  1. You are required to open a claim with USPS

  2. Do not send the item back to me until the claim is fully resolved
    (USPS may require the damaged item)

  3. Once the claim is approved, the insurance payout must be sent to me so I can repair or recreate the item

I have no authority over USPS claims — approvals and timelines are entirely up to the carrier.

International Shipping

International orders (including Canada and Australia) may take 4–15 weeks to arrive, depending on the item and destination.

  • I will not modify customs forms

  • Buyers are responsible for all customs fees, VAT, duties, or delivery charges

  • Any additional fees required to receive or sign for the package are the buyer’s responsibility


Shipping Categories & Timeframes

Order-In Items

Sourced directly from the manufacturer, shipped to me first, then forwarded to you.
Estimated delivery: 10–30 business days


Drop Ship Items

Shipped directly from the manufacturer to your address.
(All saddles and saddle pads fall into this category.)
Estimated delivery: 7–30 business days

Custom Orders

Custom and made-to-order items typically ship within 5–7 weeks.
All custom orders include USPS Priority Mail shipping with $100 insurance at no additional charge.


Made-to-Order Specials

Offered only during limited ordering windows.

  • Estimated production time: 5–10 weeks

  • Timeline begins after the order window closes, not the date you place your order

  • Example: Order placed January 1, window closes January 25 → timeline starts January 25


Checkout & Shipping Adjustments

  • Shipping shown at checkout is an estimate

  • If your order requires a larger box, you will be invoiced for the difference

  • If shipping is overestimated, you’ll receive a refund for the difference

If additional shipping fees are invoiced and not paid within 48 hours, the order will be canceled and refunded.

Address Accuracy & Returns

Please double-check your shipping address before placing your order.

  • I cannot change shipping addresses once an order is placed

  • Orders returned due to incorrect addresses must be reshipped at the buyer’s expense

  • No refunds will be issued for address errors


Order Cancellations

If you choose to cancel an order, a $25 restocking fee per item will apply. This fee will be automatically deducted from your refund. No exceptions.
